Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark Hints
How can I defeat Sabal?
1 of 5: One strategy is to focus on quickly taking Sabal down before she can use her mirror fragment to do much damage to your side. Once she's dead, the battle is as good as over.
2 of 5: A good opening move would be to use the unique power of one of your mirror shard pieces to activate the Pillar of Entrapment in order to cage most of the drow contingent and hit them with blades. Then run over to the Pillar of the Guardian and use a mirror shard's power on it to briefly turn yourself into a mithral golem (this is especially helpful for characters with low Strength and few hit points). After it's all over, use your shards on the Pillar of Revival to heal yourself and your henchmen.
3 of 5: NOTE: Each mirror shard has three uses, so you have a rather big advantage over Sabal in that regard. You might just want to dodge her and stay as safe as you can until she uses up her three charges, thereby greatly diminishing her threat.
4 of 5: Once all the drow are dead, loot Sabal's body to get the final mirror shard and some great magic items, then talk to the Fool to get the Mirror of All-Seeing restored (which you then receive as your reward for helping).
5 of 5: After that, speak to the queen and then exit the area to finish up. Shaori's Fell will be restored to its rightful place in the Lost Peaks, and this whole area will become completely uninteresting. Might as well boat on back (or teleport using the relic).
