How do I defeat the huge drow force in the west half of the area?
1 of 7: You met and talked with Nathyrra, didn't you?
2 of 7: She advised you to head north and find a secret passage instead of going west across the stone bridge and taking the drow force head-on.
3 of 7: I personally didn't notice a whole lot of difference in difficulty after trying both approaches, so save your game and then try whichever one sounds better to you.
4 of 7: If you want to follow Nathyrra's advice, head north past the beholder until you find the eastern pile of odd rocks. (See the location 3's on the North Map.)
5 of 7: Using those rocks will get you the option to take a secret passage over to the west side.
6 of 7: From there, you can easily ambush the drow war cannon operators and fire off a few shots with them yourself.
7 of 7: Don't count on the war cannons doing all of your work for you, though. You'll still need to go down to the main floor and finish things up manually.
