How can I get to the golden armor suit without setting off a deadly trap?
1 of 6: Just walking out there sure isn't going to do it. The armor is in the center of a very large and powerful square-shaped trap.
2 of 6: You could run for it and hope you survive, but there's a better way if your Search skill isn't way too low.
3 of 6: After looting the garbage pile on the west side of the room for its treasure, wait around in Detect mode until you spot a floor lever just to the right of the garbage.
4 of 6: Hit it to deactivate the trap.
5 of 6: Then you can walk safely out to the golden armor and talk to it to take its two usable pieces.
6 of 6: NOTE: If you have an item that has the Find Traps power, you can use it to disarm the trap around the Golden Armor. Two such items are the Merchant's Compass from the Shaori's Fell (strange island) area and the Lens of Detection from the Shadows of Undrentide expansion.
