What should I do with this Grovel character in the entry chamber?
1 of 4: He'll appear the first time you use the well in the inn to descend to the Undermountain area.
2 of 4: He's willing to talk, so why not ask him about how things are going down here?
3 of 4: You'll learn that Halaster, the wizard that runs the Undermountain, has apparently left for some reason, and ogres and fairies are fighting for control of level 1.
4 of 4: After you're through talking to Grovel, you can choose to let him escape via the well. If you do, you can then go up yourself and talk Durnan into letting Grovel do some cleaning work around the inn. This gets you 3 points of Good alignment shift.
