Notes and Extras
1 of 3: The pile of bones at location 6 on the map has a great artifact item called the Prismatic Dragon Boots. Those boots have a couple of negative effect on them, but among the positive effects is a spell resistance of 24! The only items that can beat that are the robe and cloak of spell resistance in Chapter 3 that each have a 32 rating. (Too bad spell resistance isn't cumulative.)
2 of 3: The tiny drider cave at location 5 on the map has a single searchable corpse with Nasher's Cloak of Protection on it. (Note that all the driders are outside the cave.)
3 of 3: Another thing that you can insert into the bridge mechanism near the beholder cave entrance is a baby! Believe it or not, if you saved the baby from Hilltop East in the SoU expansion, you can insert him into the mechanism to get a monster-summoning item called Tynan's Top. The type of monster it summons depends on a selection you make after inserting the baby. How's that for obscure, unguessable easter eggs?
