Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark Hints
How can I loot all the corpses in the Hall of Sleeping Kings?
of 10: Have you tried attacking the corpses?
of 10: That usually won't work.
of 10: Try approaching and examining each corpse.
of 10: When you approach a certain corpse at the east end of the hall area, the sword it's holding onto will speak to you and ask you to "rescue" it.
of 10: NOTE: If you don't use longswords, you can tell Enserric that you don't need a longsword in order to get him to morph into a similar type of bladed weapon. (Unfortunately, he can't become an axe, hammer, flail, staff, etc.)
of 10: If you choose to take Enserric, all of the corpses in the hall will come to "life" and attack (though you probably won't have to deal with more than two or three at a time if you're careful).
of 10: When the corpses attack, the two exit doors from the hall will close and lock (unless you had the foresight to close and bash them earlier). If you need to retreat before finishing off all of the undead kings, you'll have to either bash an exit door, get the skull key from one of the kings' remains, or use the secret door in the center of the hall (see Central Map).
of 10: If you're caught unprepared by Enserric, you can refuse to rescue it and then come back later and attack the corpse that's holding it.
of 10: Enserric is a very powerful weapon. The fact that it heals its user whenever it damages an enemy is particularly nice. It also makes comments every now and then (especially when you're attacking with it), and you can use its special power to talk to Enserric's essence at any time. Quite an unusual henchman, huh?
of 10: NOTE: Some of the other undead kings in the hall have some good stuff on them, so be sure to loot them all after you take them down.
