How is the battle different if I decide to help the Valsharess?
1 of 7: Well, it's much shorter and easier, that's for sure!
2 of 7: If you're serious about helping the Valsharess (or just zooming through this part of the game quickly and easily), then you must act during the pre-battle preparation phase when you're standing around in the courtyard with all of the rebel forces.
3 of 7: The Valsharess wants you to make sure the gates are open when her forces arrive.
4 of 7: Strangely enough, this merely involves closing and then reopening the inner gates. (If that doesn't work, try closing and bashing the inner gates.)
5 of 7: This will trigger a cut scene in which you go to the city core area and are told by a loyal Valsharess follower that the Seer needs to be killed to complete the victory.
6 of 7: You can either charge the Seer and kill her quickly, or you can have fun doing other things first, like squashing your former henchmen and other allies.
7 of 7: As soon as the Seer is dead, you're teleported to the Valsharess' throne room. Even though the exact dialogue that goes on then is different than if you'd stayed loyal to the rebels, the end result is the same.
