How can I get unlimited XP?

  • 1 of 7: When you talk to the hermit inside his house, ask him what scares him instead of mentioning that there's something wrong with his drink.
  • 2 of 7: Then volunteer to find someone to sell his honey for him to get 300 XP.
  • 3 of 7: You can keep talking to him and going through the same dialogue choices over and over again to get endless XP!
  • 4 of 7: The exact dialogue choices to use are 1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1. Keep talking to him and hitting those exact numbers to get your XP. (Note that the conversation options can vary slightly, so check those numbers out before using them blindly.)
  • 5 of 7: NOTE: Instead of saying you'll find someone to sell his honey, you could instead demand a finder's fee in order to get 200 XP and 100 gold, but this will only work once.
  • 6 of 7: TIP: Be sure to quicksave every now and then just in case something happens (power outage, or whatever). If you accidentally hit the wrong dialogue choice, you can press ESC to jump out of the dialogue and then talk to the hermit again to reset it.
  • 7 of 7: This is a great (though somewhat tedious) way to go from level 3 to at least level 7 when you first start the election section of the module. All of the vote quests should be pretty easy to do afterwards, even the tougher ones that the Trade Guild and Foresters' Guild have.
