Neverwinter Nights: Kingmaker Hints
Tips and Notes
of 9: When a duergar goes invisible, run up next to him to get him to reveal himself so you can attack him.
of 9: There are explosive barrels in a couple of rooms that you can detonate if you have a torch in your inventory.
of 9: However, they just cause rubble to fall and block a nearby door, which isn't very useful. (If you do get the rubble to fall, you can then bash it to get it out of the way.)
of 9: The fight with all the duergar in the NW corner room can be super tough, so be sure to quicksave before you start it. Read on for more tips for this battle.
of 9: Have your henchmen stand their ground in the hall leading to the room, then go in and draw a few duergar at a time out to kill. (This can also be used with other rooms that are too tough for you.)
of 9: The first time, try to only draw the extra-tough Duergar Head Miner and Duergar Head Warrior out. Hopefully, you and your henchmen can take these two down when they're by themselves.
of 9: Heal everyone back up, then keep your henchmen outside while you draw more duergar to them.
of 9: When no more will be lured out, have your henchmen follow you and charge the rest of them.
of 9: Be sure and check the remains of the two head duergar before you leave -- they have some good stuff on them.
