How can I rescue Tarin?
1 of 7: After the abduction is over, talk to Lyen Silverblade to get him to join you as a temporary henchman.
2 of 7: Leave the tavern and look around the Market District for any signs of the abductors.
3 of 7: You'll find them near the NW corner of the map.
4 of 7: Approach Malthar to get him to enter the Nightcrawler lair through a trap door in the boat house, then follow him in.
5 of 7: When you first enter the lair, there'll be a Nightcrawler doorman near a locked door that you need to get past.
6 of 7: Now you can choose which basic method you want to use to free Tarin: the straightforward attack way, or the stealthy sneak way.
7 of 7: BUG NOTE: If Lyen isn't close by when you talk to Tarin in his cell, the dialogue will skip a bit and Tarin won't join your party as he should. If this happens, talk to Lyen and dismiss him, then talk to Tarin again and tell him to follow you.
