Gnoll Cave Notes
1 of 4: A rare fenberry can be found in a so-called "bag of gold" in the SE room of the caves.
2 of 4: If you kill the beastmaster in his room (east of the chieftain's main cave), you can get his special horn that you can blow to make the caged bears friendly to you for a time. However, they don't follow you around unless you can use Animal Empathy on them, so you'll have to lead hostile gnolls to them if you want them to help with that.
3 of 4: The goblin wizard in a room near the beastmaster's has a Dagger +1, Bracers of Armor +1, and a Wand of Lesser Summoning. Looting his room will reveal a Wand of Missiles and several spell scrolls. (Note that anyone can use the Wand of Lesser Summoning to summon a creature. It has three uses.)
4 of 4: The locked room NE of the chieftain's chamber has some good treasure in it, including a Longsword +1, Gloves of the Rogue, and 99 Arrows +1.
