Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide Hints
How can I loot the stinger treasure stash?
1 of 7: First, find the locked and trapped door leading to the stash.
2 of 7: It's along the southern border of the main stinger cave.
3 of 7: If you have Dorna Trapspringer with you, she can probably untrap and unlock the door for you. Otherwise, you can try bashing it down (though this is very hard, even for a level 7 fighter). If neither way works, try bringing in Xanos -- his spells might do the trick. As a last resort, you could buy The Nightthief's Claw from Torias and bash the door with it (it does bonus electrical damage).
4 of 7: Inside the room are several more traps. They extend the length of the floor and are between you and the statue at the west end of the room.
5 of 7: If Dorna can't disarm the traps, you could try bashing the statue from a distance with arrows or spells. Otherwise, heal up and rush it with melee weapons.
6 of 7: The two treasure chests near the statue are also rigged with very high-level traps, and you may have to shoot them open with arrows in order to get their goodies without taking damage. (Check the nearby weapon racks for spare arrows. They may or may not have some.)
7 of 7: If you can survive all of that, you'll find that the two trapped chests have an Amulet of Health (immunity to poison, disease, and level/ability drain), Boots of Elvenkind (Dexterity +2, Move Silently +10), a Wand of Lightning, and Aurumvorax Armor (+2 light armor with 5 points of resistance to piercing and slashing damage).
