What can I do with the altar and statue in the Inner Catacombs?
1 of 7: You can pray faithfully at the altar to get fully healed, but you'll also shift by five alignment points toward evil.
2 of 7: As for the statue, it has two rubies for eyes.
3 of 7: Click on the statue and choose to take the rubies.
4 of 7: Before you can, you'll have to fight the statue and reduce it to rubble. It's a tough battle, so heal up (via evil altar or whatever) before you start.
5 of 7: NOTE: A much easier way to deal with the statue is to stand a short ways directly west of it and then initiate combat with it at range. It should get stuck on the little archway thing that's between you and it, making the battle safe and easy.
6 of 7: Search the statue's rubble to find the two rubies.
7 of 7: NOTE: You'll probably want to save the rubies for the item-creation machine that's in the excavated ruins in the last part of the Interlude.
