How can I get the treasures from the Shield Guardian's "master?"
1 of 5: If you're having trouble finding the room this question applies to, it's the south room off of an E/W corridor in the west central portion of the ruins. (See location 8 on the Excavated Ruins Map.)
2 of 5: After you help the Shield Guardian kill the red slaadi attacking it, talk to it.
3 of 5: If you use the Insight-related topic of being sent to get items from the master, you'll get the option to persuade the guardian that its master is really dead.
4 of 5: If you succeed, it'll deactivate and you can search the skeleton it guards for a Necklace of Fireballs that anyone can use, a Ring of Magic Defenses that gives a 14 spell resistance, and an Ointment of Stone to Flesh.
5 of 5: If you can't talk the guardian into deactivating, you'll have to kill it (which you may want to do anyway for the XP).
