How can I get through the gnoll cave without them sounding the alarm?
1 of 4: There are alarm gongs all over the place, and if a gnoll rings one, that'll alert all of the local gnolls to your presence, which causes several of them to come running and the rest to be much more alert for intruders.
2 of 4: You can bash alarm gongs without sounding them, including with arrows. This can be useful when it's possible to get line-of-sight on a gong before the gnolls near it spot you.
3 of 4: You may have to use stealth-related skills or spells to approach some of the gongs. If that's not possible for you, then quickly rush the gnolls and try to take them down before the gong gets rung.
4 of 4: After finishing off all of the gnoll "gong" groups in the southern half of the cave, you can relax somewhat and look for other things to do.
