I've decided to kill the kobolds off. Are there any special tips for this?
1 of 11: Not if your character is a powerful import from the NWN main campaign. These kobolds will be no challenge at all to such a powerhouse.
2 of 11: Otherwise, you should figure out how to use one of the tomb's ancient poison traps against them.
3 of 11: Explore around east and south of their locked door.
4 of 11: You should be able to spot a hidden door at the very south end of the N/S corridor. Your Search skill is checked periodically as long as you're in the secret door's vicinity, so go into Detect mode and wait until it registers.
5 of 11: Open it and go through it to find a secret room.
6 of 11: NOTE: Doing the local "Spiders Infestation" misc. quest will get you some information about this secret room and what's in it.
7 of 11: After getting the Longbow +1 from a weapon rack, raid the chest for special helmets and hit the lever that's also in the room.
8 of 11: Put one of the special Elven Trap Protective Helmets on yourself and on your henchman.
9 of 11: Now return to the kobold room and walk onto the pressure plate that's on the floor next to the door guard.
10 of 11: The poison effect won't damage the kobolds, but it will stun them frequently, making your assault a fairly easy victory. (Note that you'll have to right-click on a kobold and choose to attack him since they're not hostile at first.)
11 of 11: Once they're all dead, get the mummified hand off of Urko's corpse (and grab his magic warhammer from near his corpse, too).
