Rescue My Family
1 of 9: As you approach the Blake House near the east end of the Hilltop East area, Nora Blake will run up to you and give you this quest.
2 of 9: So her tiny baby is in danger, eh? Charge into the house and save that innocent!
3 of 9: You're too late to save Mr. Blake, so just kill the kobolds who murdered him and take the amethyst that one of them leaves in a "remains" bag.
4 of 9: Then head upstairs and search the bedrooms to find the one with the baby's crib.
5 of 9: A kobold will snatch the baby out of the crib just as you arrive. He'll then talk to you and ask to trade the baby for the amethyst you got downstairs.
6 of 9: You should try tricking the kobold and snatching the baby once, but don't try it again if you fail -- give up the gem instead.
7 of 9: Once you have the baby, either put him back in his crib and tell Nora where he is, or go hand him straight to Nora.
8 of 9: Either way, the quest is over. (Nice adventurers will give Nora some gold instead of demanding a reward.)
9 of 9: NOTE: If you're superbly evil and very forward-thinking, you can keep the baby until you get to Chapter 2 in the Hordes of the Underdark expansion, where you can put him in a machine to create a special monster-summoning item.
