Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide Hints
Do I need to visit all the little side rooms on level 3?
of 9: No, but every time you enter one of those rooms for the first time, you get 100 XP.
of 9: And that's not counting all the XP you can get from fighting the undead creatures that are in several of the rooms.
of 9: There's also a bit of bonus loot to be gotten.
of 9: Read on for a few room-specific hints.
of 9: In the SE corner room is a talkative skeleton chieftain. Tell him to return to the grave and then kill him and get his Greatsword +1.
of 9: The NE corner room has several thrones that you can sit on to either be enhanced or badly wounded. Save before experimenting.
of 9: It turns out that the thrones are alignment-related. If your character is good, try the thrones in the NE corner of the room. If he's evil, try the NW thrones. If he's neutral, go for the SE thrones.
of 9: The first time you sit on a throne that matches your alignment, you'll be fully healed and your Strength and Intelligence stats will get a temporary +3 bonus. Sitting on a throne of a different alignment will cause you to lose most of your hit points.
of 9: NOTE: If you click on one of your alignment thrones and then quickly click on the other one before your character gets sat down, a shadow fiend may teleport in nearby. I don't know what the point of that is, but go ahead and kill the fiend for a bit of XP.
