1 of 3: The library is chock full of ancient dust mephits who are capable of casting several extremely inconvenient spells on you, including Blind, Confusion, Darkness, and Curse. Be sure to do what you can to boost your Will saves, and try to take on only small groups of mephits at a time (or use your Necklace of Fireballs or some other neat item to blast them in large groups).
2 of 3: In the large SE room, search the bone pile to find the Golden Chalice of Lathander, which can be used to cast the Light spell (unlimited) and Healing Circle (3 uses).
3 of 3: Check the bookcase nearest the door in the big NW room to find a valuable Rod of Resurrection.
