How can I use it?
1 of 6: Click on the contraption to get its inventory screen.
2 of 6: Then click on the little gold coin picture at the bottom right of the screen and choose an amount of gold.
3 of 6: Click on the contraption's inventory area to drop the gold into it, then back away and use the lever.
4 of 6: As Nimmelmaer warned you, you sometimes get more gold after pulling the lever, and sometimes you get less.
5 of 6: That would be okay if the lever didn't hopelessly jam after being used a few times.
6 of 6: What you'll want to do is put all your gold into the machine, quicksave your game, pull the lever, and then quicksave again if you got more gold (and quickrestore if you didn't). Keep that up until the lever jams.
