1 of 3: While implementing the step-by-step plan (or your own plan) to kill Morag, feel free to run back down the tunnels that lead to Morag's room in order to have a moment to heal up. Morag and her minions usually won't follow you, though they sometimes do.
2 of 3: If your henchman is killed, he'll usually respawn back at the beginning of the Inner Sanctum area, and you can go back and pick him up.
3 of 3: I hope you bought a few scrolls of Greater Restoration or some Potions of Heal before entering the Inner Sanctum. Using one of them will completely heal you no matter how many hit points you have. If you find yourself in bad shape and can't get away for a breather, then pause the game, use a Greater Restoration scroll and click on your character, and then unpause (or better yet, hit the Potion of Heal quick key).
