Neverwinter Nights Hints
Combat Training
1 of 11: You get this quest by speaking to Herban in the Training Halls area.
2 of 11: You can get this quest even if you're not a combat specialist, but you may not be able to officially complete it.
3 of 11: Once you have the quest on you, go speak to Dendy, who's standing around nearby.
4 of 11: He'll have you either make a successful hit against him or destroy the nearby combat dummy. You can do either one to finish with him.
5 of 11: Then go speak to Hewwet, who's at the target range over to the west of Herban and Dendy.
6 of 11: After talking to him, get all of the stuff from the nearby rack.
7 of 11: Then go to your inventory menu and equip one of the bows.
8 of 11: Now click on the target up north to attack it.
9 of 11: If Hewwet says you were too close to the target for it to count, then back up a ways and try again.
10 of 11: Once you make a successful hit that counts, talk to Hewwet again to finish up.
11 of 11: Then go talk to Herban again and say that you're finished with your training to get a nice magic item from him.
