How can I free the creature that Meldanen is holding captive?
1 of 4: Once you find Meldanen, you'll have to convince him to free her.
2 of 4: After you bash him down to near-death status, he'll surrender and talk nice to you.
3 of 4: You can either kill him to get his key and his silver tooth (which Formosa requires you to give her for her reward for killing him), or you can talk him into giving you his key and teleporting to safety. (If you ask him to make you an offer, you can get his key and 500 gold without killing him.)
4 of 4: Either way, open the dryad's cage and talk nice to her until she gives you a lock of her hair and leaves.
