Samuel's Rescue

  • 1 of 8: Talk to Gate Captain Harn to get this quest. He's in the small barricade area that acts as a fortified buffer zone between Blacklake District and No-Man's-Land.
  • 2 of 8: In Blacklake District, go to the Board Laid Bare tavern and talk to Thurin about looking for work.
  • 3 of 8: Now you've got to go and locate that Samuel guy.
  • 4 of 8: It turns out that he's a prisoner of Meldanen.
  • 5 of 8: You'll have to infiltrate Meldanen's Estate to find Samuel.
  • 6 of 8: After you either bluff your way past Grommin or kill him and take his key, go into the south wing and find the prison.
  • 7 of 8: Get the prison key from the chest, then open Samuel's cell and talk to him.
  • 8 of 8: After he runs off, return to Thurin and report success to be rewarded.
