What do I need to get past level 2's seal golem?
1 of 6: As with level 1's golem, you could just attack it and kill it, then take the gate's key from its remains. However, level 2's golem is *much* tougher than level 1's, and you probably won't be able to defeat it unless you have a weapon (preferably a blunt weapon) that does bonus elemental damage and are wearing a Greater Brawler's Belt, which protects heavily against blunt damage (you can buy one from the blacksmith in the Cracked Anvil in Port Llast).
2 of 6: If you want to get past the golem peacefully, talk to it to see what it wants.
3 of 6: It requires you to talk like a Creator Race member, but you'll need help in doing so.
4 of 6: You need to explore around until you find a Creator Scroll with some master-race babble on it.
5 of 6: You'll find such a scroll in a chest in the south central room on this level. (Note that the unidentified gem in the same chest is a rare fire opal that can be used to cast Fireball.)
6 of 6: Go talk to the golem again to get past it and move on to level 3.
