How do I get Karlat's testimony?

  • 1 of 8: Enter his chambers and explore around.
  • 2 of 8: There are a lot of slaad and fire elementals running around loose, so be sure to hunt them down and kill them in small packs.
  • 3 of 8: Karlat has locked himself into the southern-most chamber of the area.
  • 4 of 8: If you're really good, you can lock-pick or bash one of his locked doors.
  • 5 of 8: If not, get the key from the glowing chest.
  • 6 of 8: It's in the northwestern-most room of the area.
  • 7 of 8: Once you can talk to Karlat, get him to tell you his story (which will probably be a pack of lies) and hand over a written testimony.
  • 8 of 8: That's all you need, but you might want to also get the testimony of Belial, the demon that Karlat summoned to help him become a lich.
