Neverwinter Nights Hints
How do I get a testimony from the demon Belial?
of 13: First, you need to explore around and figure out how to summon the demon.
of 13: In one of the rooms along the east side of the area, you'll find a huge book with a candelabra standing in front of it.
of 13: Click on the candelabra (this will probably take several tries) until you start reading the book.
of 13: Now you need to find the three items necessary to perform the summoning.
of 13: Now go to the summoning room, which is south of the room with the big book.
of 13: Click on the brazier to open it up, then move a fire beetle belly into it.
of 13: Exit the brazier inventory view, then set up both of Karlat's wands on the quickbar.
of 13: Press the appropriate function key to use the protection wand, and then click on yourself.
of 13: Press the function key to use the burning wand, then click on the brazier. (Or use the special Burning Hands scroll instead, if you want to.)
of 13: This will summon Belial, with the effect of the protection wand preventing him from attacking you.
of 13: Talk to the demon to see what he can offer you.
of 13: You can ask him for power or a magical item (which will be a Staff of Power), or you can tell him that you're the Judge and then quiz him about his part in this whole mess.
of 13: Ask him for a written testimony, and you'll be able to get more judgment options later on when you return to the Guardian.
