How do I close the monster-summoning portal?
1 of 8: Check out the small bedroom that's next to the portal room.
2 of 8: Read the journal on Burke's corpse to learn what you need to close the portal.
3 of 8: The smooth token that's also on the corpse is the abyssal metal, so pick it up.
4 of 8: Then fight your way to the room in the NE corner of the area.
5 of 8: Get the sphere from the fountain, since it's the other item you need.
6 of 8: Go to the portal and click on it after clearing the room of monsters.
7 of 8: Choose to place the token and the sphere in the portal.
8 of 8: That'll close it and remove the rakshasa and vrock from Kurth's room, making it easier to handle.
