How can I make the dragon fight easier?
1 of 16: By restoring a certain magic amulet and wearing it.
2 of 16: It's in the trapped chest near the cave's exit.
3 of 16: Two journals telling of the amulet are in a nearby book pile.
4 of 16: Once you have the amulet, you need to get the dwarf leader and the dryad leader to fix it for you.
5 of 16: You'll find Hodd, the dwarf leader, near the NW corner of the outdoor area.
6 of 16: Talk to him to get him to fix the crack in the amulet.
7 of 16: To restore the amulet's power, you need to talk to Arwyl, who's with her dryads in the NE corner of the area.
8 of 16: But one of those two will be hostile to you and will refuse to speak to you.
9 of 16: Did you notice when you first used the snow globe that you had the option of rotating it as well as entering it?
10 of 16: Try exiting the globe and rotating it now.
11 of 16: Notice how the description of what you see inside changes.
12 of 16: The balance of power inside the globe shifts as you rotate it.
13 of 16: The faction that's listed as the aggressor is the one that will be hostile to you when you're inside.
14 of 16: So rotate the globe to make the dryads the aggressors, then enter it and go talk to Hodd about fixing the amulet.
15 of 16: Then exit the globe again, rotate it, and reenter to be able to talk Arwyl into restoring the amulet's power.
16 of 16: Then put the amulet on and go get that dragon!
