Neverwinter Nights Hints
Notes and Extras
1 of 5: When selling items in Port Llast, always sell to Alhelor in the Alliance Arms Inn. He'll give you way more money for them than anyone else will. Note that a certain optional quest (the werewolf one) will remove him from service, so put off finishing it until you're ready to move on to the Finale part of the chapter. (Also note that his super-greatness as a merchant exists only in the original, unpatched version of the game.)
2 of 5: You can make Elaith Craulnober in the Alliance Arms Inn a shopkeeper if you get the lore-related dialogue option about hearing his name before. However, he just has the same stuff that the "Shady Character" near the docks has, and at the same prices.
3 of 5: Rogues should be sure to save up and buy the Shadow Legion Armor and Thieves' Hood from either Elaith or the "Shady Character" as soon as possible, since they're among the best equipment a rogue can get in the entire game. (Shadow Legion Armor is also great for any character who normally wears light armor.)
4 of 5: Neurik in the temple sells scrolls of Greater Restoration. They're very expensive, but can be extremely useful since they remove most conditions and fully heal you no matter how many hit points you've lost. A cheaper alternative are the Potions of Heal, which can be bought for less from Alhelor in the inn. They restore full hit points, but don't remove bad conditions.
5 of 5: Eltoora sells a Golden Circlet helm, which is one of the best helms in the game due to the fact that it makes you immune to all mind-affecting spells (fear, stun, charm, dominate, etc.).
