Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
How can I start a new Mask of the Betrayer game?
1 of 8: After installing it, run the main NWN2 game and choose to start a new game.
2 of 8: Choose "New Campaign," then the "Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer" choice.
3 of 8: You can then create a new character, but hopefully you'll have an exported character from the end of the main NWN2 game to use.
4 of 8: If you've got saves from the main NWN2 campaign but not an exported character, then load up the newest save you've got, which will hopefully be right before or even during the big battle with the King of Shadows.
5 of 8: Only your equipped items (except for weapons) will come through into Mask of the Betrayer, so make sure you have the very best stuff equipped.
6 of 8: Use the menu option to export your character once he's ready, then do the above process of starting a new Mask of the Betrayer game, choosing your exported character when given the option.
