Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
Dreamscape
of 12: You can get this quest while working on the "Ancient Knowledge" quest.
of 12: Use any world map transition point (like the one in the Burning Grove) to travel to the Immil Vale.
of 12: Go down the winding dirt path, then talk to Imsha near the Red Tree.
of 12: Ask about the nearby gigantic rock to learn that sleeping next to it sometimes causes vivid and even prophetic dreams.
of 12: Go over to the so-called "Mosstone" sometime with Gann in your party to see what he thinks of it.
of 12: After your conversation with him, use the Rest menu key to get yourself and Gann taken to a dreamscape. (If the regular Rest menu options come up, close the menu and move closer to the Mosstone before trying again.)
of 12: In the dreamscape, run along the only path until you reach a group of people who talk to you when you approach.
of 12: After a bit of conversation, the former spirit-eater spirits will all attack you.
of 12: It shouldn't be too hard to defeat them, especially with Gann to help, though you might want to take down the spellcasters first just to make sure.
of 12: When you've won, the red woman who looks like Safiya will speak to you.
of 12: She'll give you a mask fragment, and then the dream (and this quest) will end.
of 12: See the "Fragments of a Mask" quest for more info about the mask fragments.
