Skeleton Keys

  • 1 of 14: You can get this quest soon after you get the "Legacy of the Headmistress" quest.
  • 2 of 14: Enter Master Inarus' classroom, which is along the east side of the classrooms area.
  • 3 of 14: He'll know you're a spirit-eater, and will ask you to devour something in front of the class as a demonstration.
  • 4 of 14: After you're through gaining influence with Okku, you can do the demonstration for real, choosing what type of subject you'd like to devour. What choices you get depends on your current spirit feat assortment.
  • 5 of 14: You'll be able to easily do the devouring within the dialogue, and you'll get a brilliant spirit essence for it.
  • 6 of 14: After the demonstration, you'll get Inarus' ring of keys, which includes the skeleton keys that this quest was named after.
  • 7 of 14: Now that you have the keys, why not start using them?
  • 8 of 14: There are two locked storerooms in the classrooms area that can only be opened with those keys.
  • 9 of 14: After raiding them, head to the instructors' quarters area and locate Master Inarus' room.
  • 10 of 14: It's two rooms south of Safiya's, and is just north of the stairs that lead to the Headmistress' Tower.
  • 11 of 14: After looting the chest and bookcase in the room, look around for the door that Master Inarus doesn't want you to open.
  • 12 of 14: Move around in the room past the secret door until Master Inarus shows up and attacks you along with a summoned balor or two.
  • 13 of 14: Quickly tear up the balors, then take down Master Inarus.
  • 14 of 14: After it's over, loot Inarus to get Binder's Robes, then loot the room's chest to get a bunch of gold.
