Fast Battle Tips
1 of 5: To make each battle go faster, have Safiya and Kaelyn the Dove fill their high-level spell slots with their best offensive spells (Disintegrate, Delayed Blast Fireball, Implosion, Destruction, etc.).
2 of 5: Also, set their spellcasting behavior to the overkill setting so they'll really roast those shadow creatures fast!
3 of 5: Even with those settings, you might want to take control of them and manually cast a couple of certain spells at the beginning of each battle to make sure they get cast right away.
4 of 5: For instance, have Safiya start out by casting the empowered version of Disintegrate on a nightwalker or death knight (more than once if possible) whenever you get one of those to appear. Also, an empowered Delayed Blast Fireball or two is the best way to start out when you're facing the group that includes a shadow umber hulk.
5 of 5: It would also help (especially inside the Death God's Vault) to tell Safiya to stand her ground, then move her away from the rest of the group before resting. That way, she'll be off to the side when the enemies attack, and you can switch to her and unleash her best spells without her coming under attack.
