How can I put out all of the grove's fires?
1 of 12: You need to hit the burning trees with a melee weapon that's enchanted to do frost damage.
2 of 12: If you still have the Frost Harpoon from the barrow, you can use it.
3 of 12: Or you can enchant another weapon using item crafting if you have some brilliant water essences.
4 of 12: Or you can get a special item that can temporarily frost weapons by doing the optional "The Hidden Hag" quest.
5 of 12: Return to the Burning Grove once you have the Jar of Condensed Orglash Essences.
6 of 12: Go to inventory and use the jar's special power on some character's melee weapon to make it do cold damage.
7 of 12: Make that character active, then click on the interactive parts of the burning trees to put out their flames.
8 of 12: After the last tree is de-flamed, you'll have to kill the Shape of Fire guy.
9 of 12: He's extremely hard to hit, but you should be able to eventually damage him enough to get a journal update.
10 of 12: When you do, click on him and choose to either devour him or use some orglash extract on him.
11 of 12: It's best to devour him, since that gets you some spirit energy plus a Shape of Fire Essence in your inventory.
12 of 12: Either way, you'll destroy him and finish the quest.
