Maric Note
1 of 3: Depending on how you handled a certain problem earlier in the game, you may find a lich named Maric wandering around on or near the bridge.
2 of 3: He'll be there if you used the Imaskari Rod to open the Middle Barrow's spirit barrier way back in Act I, Part 1, and refrained from attacking him then.
3 of 3: Talk to him and say that you want him to join you, and he will.
