How can I put a stop to this infinite attack?
1 of 7: Pause the game and look the nearby trees over carefully.
2 of 7: At the bottom of each one is an interactive spot called "Genius Loci."
3 of 7: Those are the sources of the ever-spawning enemies, so attack the loci instead of the enemies.
4 of 7: Take control of your best melee fighter and use him to attack the genius loci while everyone else keeps the enemy horde busy.
5 of 7: There are loci on four smaller trees besides the big one on the glowing ash tree. Bash all of them as quickly as you can.
6 of 7: You'll know when a loci is destroyed because it'll give off a big white flash, and will then go non-interactive.
7 of 7: TIP: If you're tough enough that the enemies aren't able to damage you much, you can take advantage of this endless stream to get lots of XP and essences (mainly earth and water) before you bash the loci.
