Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
How are the hints organized?
1 of 7: The game is divided up into three major sections called acts, and the hints are organized around that same division.
2 of 7: The acts are fairly long, and therefore needed to be split up into several hint sections each.
3 of 7: For instance, there are three major sections to Act I, so I divide the Act I hints up into three different parts, each with its own name.
4 of 7: The part names are ones that I made up, and can't be found anywhere in the game. However, they're descriptive enough of the area you're in or the major task(s) that need to be done that you should be able to easily figure out which part you're in.
5 of 7: Within each part's hint section, the essential main-plot quests are listed in the order that you usually get them. Optional quests and any non-quest information that I decided to include will be in subsections called "Optional Quests and Notes" or something very similar.
6 of 7: Some quests can be gotten in later game parts than they're first mentioned in these hints. If you get a quest and can't find hints for it in the part you're in, look back in the hints for previous parts. (This mainly happens with optional quests.)
7 of 7: You'll often be able to travel back to the regions involved in parts that you've already finished, but the parts are pretty much linear in terms of completing quests and advancing the game's storyline. The one major exception to this is in Act II, where you can do parts 1 and 2 in either order, or even skip part 1 entirely.
