Is there a way to devour the Founder's soul and get an essence item?
1 of 9: Yes, but only if your main character is evil.
2 of 9: After saying that you're going to kill the Founder, choose the option about killing Safiya as well.
3 of 9: That way, you can fight both of them and get both of their essences.
4 of 9: As soon as the battle starts, you'll want to broadcast a "stand your ground" command so your companions won't attack the Founder or Safiya.
5 of 9: Hack either one of them down to "near death" status and use Devour Soul on her to get her essence.
6 of 9: Then go kill the other hostiles in the room while waiting for the five-minute feat "cooldown."
7 of 9: Then repeat the hack-and-devour feat on whichever one you didn't devour already.
8 of 9: However, even if you're sure that you can do without Safiya in the future, it really isn't worth all the trouble to get her essence or the Founder's.
9 of 9: The item that the Founder's essence is supposed to be used with doesn't exist in the game, and Safiya's essence is only good for adding the Intelligence +10 property to a helmet. (You can add Intelligence +9 to a helmet by molding three pristine spirit essences with it once your main character is level 30.)
