Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints

Exactly how should I adjust the mirrors?

  • 1 of 15: In the hints below, I'll say how many times to click on a mirror to get it from its starting position to the position it needs to be in. For those of you who've already moved the mirrors around and don't want to restore an earlier save, I'll also say which compass direction the mirror's glass surface needs to end up facing.
  • 2 of 15: The one nearest the obelisk needs to be clicked on once so that it'll be in position (facing NW) to reflect the beam to the second mirror.
  • 3 of 15: The second mirror is already set (facing SW) to reflect the beam to the third mirror, so leave it alone.
  • 4 of 15: The third mirror needs to be clicked on once (so that it's facing SE) to move the beam along, as does the fourth mirror (so that it's facing NE).
  • 5 of 15: The fourth mirror directs the beam to a door, so open if you haven't already.
  • 6 of 15: The fifth mirror, which is inside the room past the door, needs to be clicked on twice (so that it faces NW) before it'll pass the beam on to the sixth mirror.
  • 7 of 15: The sixth mirror needs to be clicked on twice (to get it facing SW), and the seventh mirror needs to be clicked on once (to get it facing SE).
  • 8 of 15: You'll need to open another door so the beam can get to the eighth mirror.
  • 9 of 15: It doesn't look like the beam can go much of anywhere from the eighth mirror, but check out the nearby interactive bookshelf.
  • 10 of 15: After raiding it for items, right-click on it and choose to bash it.
  • 11 of 15: That'll reveal a door that you can open.
  • 12 of 15: Click on the eighth mirror once (so that it faces NW) to get it to reflect the beam through the door.
  • 13 of 15: Then click on the ninth mirror once (so that it faces NE) to get the beam to move on to another door.
  • 14 of 15: You'll have to click on the tenth mirror three times to get it to face SW and reflect the beam to the next door.
  • 15 of 15: Click on the eleventh mirror once (to face SE) and the twelfth mirror twice (to face NE) to redirect the beam to its destination.
