Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
Prodigal Daughter
of 11: You'll get this quest near the beginning of the "Wrath of the Bear God" quest.
of 11: The prodigal daughter that you're after is in a certain place in the Plane of Shadow, so find a shadow portal that can take you there.
of 11: After you pass through the portal, you'll find the Death God's Vault a bit to the SE, where the Temple of Kelemvor is in Mulsantir.
of 11: Buff up and save before you approach the vault, since its entrance is guarded by two very tough nightwalker creatures.
of 11: Remove the vault door's trap if you can, then enter and go north a bit to find Kaelyn the Dove.
of 11: After she talks to you and joins you, you can start on the optional "The Death God's Vault" quest, or you can just turn around and leave the vault.
of 11: Return to Mulsantir through the nearby shadow portal, then go back to the area near the Veil Theater.
of 11: Save your game before talking to Efrem, since you'll have an important choice to make when you do.
of 11: You can either require Susah and Efrem to help you in the fight against the bear god, or you can release them from that promise.
of 11: You get 2000 XP either way. The difference is that if you hold them to their promise, you get two more helpers in the big battle ahead, and lose six influence points with Kaelyn the Dove. But if you release them from their promise, they won't help you in the battle, you'll gain six influence points with Kaelyn, and Efrem will give you a powerful magic helm.
of 11: You should try releasing them from their promise and see if you can handle things without their help. If not, you'll have your save to come back to.
