How can I pass Lena's test?

  • 1 of 7: Lena requires you to beat four berserkers in consecutive one-on-one matches.
  • 2 of 7: TIP: Any buffing spells you have on you before you start won't be taken off, so have Safiya cast spells like Stoneskin and Haste on you before you talk to Lena.
  • 3 of 7: If you're a fighter-type character, or are at least well-buffed, you should be able to thrash all four of them easily. If not, come back later in the game when you're higher-level and have better gear.
  • 4 of 7: After you finish the challenge, you can talk to Lena again to set up another round of fights, this one much tougher than the last.
  • 5 of 7: BUG NOTE: Don't do Lena's advanced fights until after you finish all three regular tests and talk to Jurak to join the lodge. If you do the advanced fights first, you won't ever be able to join the lodge or do the advanced versions of the other two tests.
  • 6 of 7: You'll need a *very* high AC and a very powerful attack in order to win these fights, especially the final one with Sergei.
  • 7 of 7: If you win, you'll get a magic falchion called Transcendent Edge that grants its user the bonus feat of Spirit's Ruin. (However, that's its only special property, so you'll need to enchant it if you want to make it into a really powerful weapon.)
