Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
What can I do with Heilari's corpse?
of 11: The easiest thing to do is click on it and choose to smash the body's head with your boot heel.
of 11: This will get you a combat with the two death knights, so you'd better be ready for them -- they're tough!
of 11: If you can beat them, you'll get a lot of XP, but that's all. Read on if you want to know of some better ways to handle the Heilari situation.
of 11: To get the other options, read the unfurled scroll, the book, and the open book that are lying around the house before you click on the body.
of 11: That'll get you a couple of new options that have to do with the ritual Heilari was undergoing.
of 11: If you choose to complete the ritual and let Safiya do it, you'll gain influence with her plus 250 XP and several evil alignment points.
of 11: You can then talk to Heilari to start a tough combat with him and the death knights.
of 11: The other option involving the book of necromantic lore will get you the Safiya influence, the 250 XP, and some lawful and good points -- but no combat. (Also, you'll be able to pick up a Talisman of Pure Good from the floor near where the body was.)
of 11: There is another option that'll require you to wait awhile, but it can get you a unique magic ring.
of 11: You'll need to get a certain necromantic lore book from the Death's God Vault, which is in the northern part of Shadow Mulsantir.
of 11: You can check the "The Death God's Vault" quest hints for more info on the vault, but you won't be able to get the necromantic lore book until Act II.
