Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer Hints
How can I beat all the berserkers?
of 12: First, rest and buff up bigtime.
of 12: Have Safiya memorize lots of Delayed Blast Fireballs, then cast two or three of them at spots on the floor near the main berserker group. That way, they'll go off right after the berserkers turn hostile and start moving. (Be sure not to accidentally detonate them yourselves before then.)
of 12: Also, make sure you have strong regenerative items on your best fighter, like the Faraneyth's Redemption belt that Mother Feodorra sells. With it, he'll have a much better chance of still being on his feet after everyone else falls.
of 12: Talk to Jurak and say you want to challenge all of the berserkers, then keep choosing provoking dialogue options until they attack.
of 12: Hopefully, your spellcasters will have lots of good AOE spells that can damage all of the berserkers at once. Those plus the Delayed Blast Fireball traps described above should quickly weaken them.
of 12: They have a spellcasting shaman on their side, so you might want to take him down early in the battle.
of 12: If you've gotten the Bestow Life Force feat by rejuvenating the Wood Man (see the Act II, Part 1 quests), you should start this battle when your spirit energy is at or near 100 so you can heal everyone if things start going badly.
of 12: If you manage to kill all of the berserkers, the little telthor badger from outside will come in and transform into a huge and powerful angry badger unless you destroyed it earlier.
of 12: You could try running around the lodge to see if you can get the huge badger stuck behind a table so you can kill him safely with ranged attacks, but there's a much better way to deal with him.
of 12: If everyone in your party is alive when the badger-entry cut-scene is over, you can pause the game, switch control to the character who's nearest the exit door, then click on the door and unpause the game. You'll probably make it out of the lodge before the badger can kill anyone.
