Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints

The Fur Trade

  • 1 of 11: You get this quest after you pick up Daeghun's furs at the very beginning of the tutorial.
  • 2 of 11: Leave Daeghun's house through the door near the SE corner to get outside, then use the area map to navigate around.
  • 3 of 11: Follow the path to the bridge, where you'll meet up with Bevil Starling and Amie Fern, who will join your party.
  • 4 of 11: Then all you need to do to get to the Harvest Fair is cross the bridge.
  • 5 of 11: Find the pin on the area map marked "Galen the Merchant" and make your way over there. (Note that you'll have to talk to Georg Redfell along the way.)
  • 6 of 11: When you reach Galen, talk to him and say you have the furs.
  • 7 of 11: After you tell him you're ready to trade, right-click on Daeghun's furs in your inventory and choose to sell them.
  • 8 of 11: Now click on the store's weapon icon (the sword) to get its weapons list.
  • 9 of 11: It shows the duskwood bow you're supposed to get, so buy it by right-clicking on it and choosing to buy.
  • 10 of 11: Close the two transaction windows and go find Daeghun at the nearby "Archery Competition" area.
  • 11 of 11: Talk to him and mention the bow to hand it over and get 400 XP. You also get to keep the gold difference from the trade.
