Neverwinter Nights 2 Hints
Fort Locke Investigation
of 20: Talk to Lieutenant Vallis Anton, who's a bit SE of the fort's world map transition point, about the patrols and the missing commander to get this quest.
of 20: To find the missing commander, you'll have to travel to the Graveyard area on the world map.
of 20: You'll have to start fighting undead as soon as you arrive at the graveyard.
of 20: Run around the area to find them all, but be careful that you don't have all of them on you at once.
of 20: After you've made a full sweep of the area, rest up and look around for treasure, including in the grave near the NE corner of the area, the grave a bit west of that, and the locked grave near the SW corner.
of 20: The crypt with the locked door that isn't marked on the area map is just an alternate exit for the main crypt, and the crypt that's near it is just for optional fun and loot.
of 20: Once you've found them all, leave the crypt and go to one of the two world map transition points in the graveyard area.
of 20: When you use it, you'll find yourself back near Fort Locke, but your troubles aren't over yet.
of 20: Lt. Anton will try to arrest the commander and stay in command of the fort.
of 20: When he does, you can try to talk your way out of this mess, or you can fight Anton and his men.
of 20: You get 250 XP if you successfully talk them out of attacking, which is maybe a tiny bit more than you'd get for killing them, but you'd be giving up the Chainmail +1 and other items that you can get from Anton's remains.
of 20: Either way, return to the fort and talk to Commander Tann once it's over.
