Khelgar Vision Quest
1 of 7: To make progress on this quest, you'll need to take Khelgar to the Church of Tyr in the Merchant Quarter.
2 of 7: Inside, talk to Hlam to learn of the three trials that Khelgar will have to go through.
3 of 7: Unfortunately, they aren't a set of challenges that he can immediately face, but are ones that will "happen when they happen," as it were.
4 of 7: The first challenge that you can overcome is the Trial of the Maimed. Do the "Ironfist Clanhold" quest to get it done.
5 of 7: Either during or right after that quest, you can do the Trial of the Even-Handed.
