What if my skills aren't high enough?
1 of 7: Then you'll have to run a small errand for Aldanon before he'll let you in.
2 of 7: Ask what he's waiting for to learn that he needs some quicksilver for an experiment.
3 of 7: Volunteer to get him some, and you'll be escorted back to the Merchant Quarter.
4 of 7: The nearest merchant who sells quicksilver is the guy named Pap. His map pin is a ways south of the Blacklake entrance.
5 of 7: He has some quicksilver in his misc. (bag icon) section, so buy one portion.
6 of 7: Return to the Blacklake gate and use the transition point (or Karina) to get back to Aldanon's house.
7 of 7: You'll be allowed inside when you say you're there to deliver the quicksilver.
