Eyegouger Lair Notes and Tips

  • 1 of 13: After moving north a bit and killing off a few orcs, take the east passage and find the door that leads to a room full of wolves.
  • 2 of 13: If you have Elanee with you, go in and talk to them to either free them or get them to help you kill the orcs. (Otherwise, avoid them or kill them for XP.)
  • 3 of 13: Fight and loot your way up to the northern part of level 1, then find the north central room with the door to level 2 in it.
  • 4 of 13: On level 2, make your way north until you reach Logram Eyegouger's large northern chamber.
  • 5 of 13: NOTE: If you let Yaisog Bonegnasher go earlier instead of killing him, he'll be here to help Logram fight you.
  • 6 of 13: After you've looted Logram's body and his NE treasure room, take the NW passage out of his room to reach the door to level 3.
  • 7 of 13: Move on from the "missing body" room to start encountering undead opponents.
  • 8 of 13: Keep going along, "killing" undead and searching for treasure, until you reach the room near the SE corner where a shadow priest and his two apprentices appear and attack.
  • 9 of 13: Be fully rested and buffed for this battle, then go for the two apprentices first. They'll go down a lot quicker than the shadow priest will.
  • 10 of 13: When that's over, unlock the nearby door and go through it to find Issani, the emissary you were sent after so long ago.
  • 11 of 13: After he runs off, check out the shadow priest's room to the south.
  • 12 of 13: After looting it, click on the interactive rock wall segment along the west wall.
  • 13 of 13: It'll disappear, revealing a secret room with a world map transition point that you can use to travel back to the Old Owl Well.
