Bonegnasher Lair Notes and Tips

  • 1 of 14: Rest up if you need to, then make your way slowly and carefully through the cave, killing all the orcs and looting all the treasure you find.
  • 2 of 14: Along the east side of the lair, you'll find Pentin and some of his miners trapped behind a locked door. Lockpick or bash it to free them.
  • 3 of 14: At the lair's west end, almost directly west of the trapped miners, is an ore vein in a corner that you can discover by walking up to it. (You can't get the miners to mine it now, but you'll be able to later in the game.)
  • 4 of 14: To get to the local chieftain, go north and then west from the imprisoned miners' area.
  • 5 of 14: When you approach Yaisog Bonegnasher in his room, he'll talk to you.
  • 6 of 14: But no matter what you say, he'll retreat west and leave you to fight a few guards.
  • 7 of 14: After you kill them, head on west, watching for several traps that were set to trip you up.
  • 8 of 14: You'll eventually catch up with Yaisog and get to attack him, but he'll surrender before you can kill him.
  • 9 of 14: After he tells you about Logram and the Eyegouger Clan, kill him so you can get the nice items he has on him.
  • 10 of 14: Continue east until you meet a man named Man, then talk to him.
  • 11 of 14: He'll claim that he's the emissary you're after, but he's really a fake.
  • 12 of 14: You can figure out that he's a fake by repeatedly insisting he come with you, then asking about his credentials.
  • 13 of 14: You can then either force him to come with you or choose to kill him.
  • 14 of 14: After that, rest and loot the nearby treasure chest, then use the world map transition point to travel somewhere.
